Bit late to this but I’ve decided to take part in inktober this year. Got a bit of catching up to do so will probably be posting in bulk. First up….the prompt was Ring.
Sometimes when i’m on my break at work i draw in my notebook. Here are some examples
I’ve been watching a lot of videos on how to draw a persons body in proportion. One of the videos suggested drawing guidelines on the page to help map out the body part placement.
It then showed how to use different shapes to plan out each body part.
The first photo is of a female body with all the guidelines and shapes included. I then tried to turn this into a Lara Croft type character without using any reference material.
These are some of my first attempts at just sitting down and drawing an anime character without any references to draw from
As she was the reason I’ve started this blog, i felt it only right that the first post relates to my girlfriend.
A couple of months after we started dating, it was her birthday and i wanted to get her something. Only problem was, i was completely broke.
So i decided to draw her something. She asked me to draw Shia from the anime Pita-Ten. Below are a few photos i took while working on the drawing.
It is now framed and hanging on our living room wall.
